 ​More than just the self-care we see on Instagram like bubble baths or watching tv, resilience means connecting with our brain and our body to tune into what we need and want. Our brains and bodies are meant to work together in harmony but many times, because of exhaustion, busyness, and a fast-paced world, we disconnect from ourselves.   By practicing resilience skills together, we can connect with a sense of agency over taking care of ourselves in a way that makes sense for us.  ​

Engaging our own natural resilience boosts our well-being, increases our capacity, and allow us to connect more with ourselves and our friends, family, coworkers & others around us.

blossom is an experiential retreat meant to allow you space to rest, connect with like minded women, and learn and practice what resilience means for you.  The skills we share with you are biologically based and founded in neuroscience and psychology.  You'll leave blossom feeling energized and refreshed, ready to put into place concrete action steps to take your resilience with you into your daily life. 

blossom is a retreat like no other combining rest, creative practices, gentle movement, self-care, and neurobiological resilience skills at a luxurious lake front property in Northern Michigan. 


blossom provides the perfect blend of learning, connection, and rest.  The property includes gorgeously appointed bedrooms, comfy spaces for lounging, four season porches overlooking the lake, multiple fireplaces, and a chef's kitchen where your meals will be prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Each day will include: 
  • Gentle morning movements including yoga, mindful walking, and body oriented meditations to start the day off well.
  • Guided creative practices (no art background required!) to help connect more deeply with yourself.
  • Interactive sessions on resilience, self-care, self-compassion, and more.
  • Ample free time to enjoy the exquisite surroundings including access to the beach, hiking trails, kayaks, SUPs, and a 20 person hot tub.

No planning required - all your meals and snacks are included from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast!  Saturday evening will include a special guest chef who will be preparing us a scrumptious three course meal.  All other meals and snacks will be cooked by our in-house chef with a focus on fresh meals that taste good and nourish our bodies and our minds.
A Note from Your Hosts:
Hi!  We are Trisha and Irene, the founders of blossom retreats.  Both having worked in the corporate world before transitioning to working with wellness, we've witnessed and experienced the impacts of stress on women.  Burn out. Exhaustion.  Fatigue.  Collapse.  Emptiness.  Disconnection. 

In our own explorations, we learned there could be another way.  We can shift our focus toward wellness and resilience to become more vibrant, connected, energetic, and present.  By connecting to ourselves, we can better support those around us, too.  We have a passion for supporting women in finding what wellness means for them, even with the busy, hectic lives we all lead.  Where does that take you? Empowered.  Invigorated.  Rejuvenated.  Capable.  Resilient.  Authentic.

Irene O'Neill

As a professional coach, I have the honor of walking alongside my clients as they make the courageous journey to self-discovery, wellness, and fulfillment. Some clients begin this journey because a particular goal like getting promoted or creating more connection in their lives is calling their name. Others find this path because of life’s challenges, dissatisfaction in their current work, or an overall sense that something is missing or isn’t right. 

 I am a Co-Active Professional coach (Coaches Training Institute), an Accredited Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE), which is a somatic based practice that can help you connect more with yourself. I have almost 10 years of experience in HR as a facilitator, trainer, and coach in the realms of Leadership Development and Employee Engagement.

I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your next steps on your journey towards wellness.

Trisha Wolfe

As a dreamer, full of curiosity, my life has taken me many places.  Along the way I noticed a theme: women are not supported in taking care of themselves.  Alongside that, I learned that if we don't take care of ourselves, our body will eventually make us. My life has always been centered on a love of learning and my learning has taken me many different directions and led me here, to my work centered around wellness and resilience. 

​My passion for wellness began with Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), the Community Resilience Model (CRM™), and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM™), which can be artfully intertwined to bring a peaceful settling to a hectic, stressful world.  Through my trainings and my own personal learnings, my focus has been on stress and resilience and the long term effects on people's well-being.  I have been privileged to work with a wide range of people, from early childhood to late adulthood, in exploring their lives, emotions, and relationships to find clarity and calm.  

I'm so excited to meet you and join you on your wellness journey!
